The specimen can be a fastener or can be a thin metal plates which are covered with paint. If it is a fastener or something i.e not flat like bolts, are hanged by typing them with a thread and then with a very thin rod. The rod with which the nuts and bolts are hanged are later kept in chamber as hanging only. If the specimen is flat like meta sheets or plates they can be easily fixed on the specimen carrier zone of the chamber with a specified angle.
After this, the chamber is firmly closed and the parameters are set up. The user can start the test by initiating the salt fog spray and maintain the temperature, test cycle duration etc. How salt sparay chamber will work depends on the operational technique used.
